One of My Hobbies....

One of my very favorite things to do is organize something. 

Anything.

But you already knew that.

With a new kitchen, it kind of feels like you just moved in and have to figure out where to put all your stuff. It usually takes a little shuffling and tweaking - as most organizing projects do.

Something really new for us are the drawers. Not that we haven't had regular, shallow drawers before - Of course we have lots of experience with that craziness -

The new part is the drawer divider inserts that fit EXACTLY. I love these:

I try really hard to not get frustrated by little things, but if I did, it would be the silverware or utensil dividers sliding around in the drawer, back and forth, flopping all around, banging and shifting.

But I don't let that bother me.

And now, I do not have to. Yay!

Everything corralled and nothing sliding around. Or flopping all around. Or banging. Or shifting.

It is the little things in life.

And an even bigger bonus are these deep spacious drawers. We have never had these before, but I love them. If you ever have an opportunity go get deep drawers instead of a lower cabinet - Get them!

It is kind of funny to put things that you have always put into a cupboard into a drawer, but we are embracing funny. 

When this drawer is open, you can see everything easy. You can get to everything easy. You can put things away easy. What's not to love about all that?

I have never put flour in a drawer. Or rice. Or all these other containers. But it is AWESOME!

I just printed up a bunch of cutie labels and slapped them on the tops so we can see right away what is in each one. 

I cannot believe how much these babies hold. Really!
